  • For the chocolate syrup
  • 75g Mortimer chocolate powder
  • 100ml water
  • 50g caster sugar
  • To make 4 chocolate iced lollies
  • 200ml milk
  • 2 tablespoons chocolate syrup

Method

Heat the water and sugar together in a pan over a medium heat, until the sugar has dissolved.

Add the chocolate and whisk until melted.

To ensure the syrup is really smooth, turn the heat down and leave the chocolate syrup on the heat for 2 minutes.

Remove from the heat, whisk and then leave to cool.

To make up the lollies

Whisk the chocolate syrup into the milk and pour into the lolly moulds.

Freeze for at least 4 hours.

If the lollies won’t come free, dip in warm water.
